Es handelt sich um ein beeindruckendes barockes Bauwerk mit einer reichen Geschichte und architektonischen Besonderheiten, unter denen Fresken, Altäre und die Kanzel hervorstechen. Ihr Inneres ist mit meisterhaft gestalteten Fresken geschmückt, die dem österreichischen Maler Josef Ferdinand Fromiller zugeschrieben werden und im Laufe der Jahrhunderte mehrfach restauriert wurden. Die Kirche enthält mehrere Altäre, von denen einige von anerkannten Meistern wie Štefan Mersi und Jožef Straub geschaffen wurden. Besonders die Kanzel gilt als eines der schönsten Werke in der Kirche. Die Orgeln, die 1743 gefertigt wurden, tragen zur feierlichen Kirchenatmosphäre bei, während der Kreuzweg und die doppelten Krippen ihren religiösen und kulturellen Gehalt bereichern.
