Sok’s Mill – Corner Mill (Formin)

The construction of the water mill dates back to 1775. It was first renovated in 1874 and was later abandoned in 1946, known locally as the “Corner Mill” in Formin. In 2020, the mill underwent a thorough structural renovation, which continues today with the restoration of the original milling mechanisms and the mill wheel. The entire roof of the farmhouse’s residential section has also been renewed. Visitors can now admire the neatly restored exterior of both the farmhouse and the mill, surrounded by a carefully maintained courtyard. In the open farmyard area, an old wine press is on display, beautifully restored and preserved. Renovation works on the cellar and other farm buildings are also actively in progress.
