Plački Vrh
Plački Vrh is a 510-metre hill in the heart of the Slovenske Gorice Hills, in the Municipality of Kungota, right on the Slovenian–Austrian border. At its summit stands the 28-metre wooden Plački Tower, built in 2000, offering visitors an outstanding panoramic view. On clear days, the vista stretches as far as Prekmurje, Donačka Gora, Pohorje, Kozjak, and deep into Austria’s Carinthia.

Access to Plački Vrh is possible on foot, by bike, or by car. The trails are easy and suitable for all ages, making Plački Vrh a popular family outing destination. Among the best-known routes are the Border Panoramic Trail, the Svečina Hills Trail, and the Winegrowing and Fossils Trail.
A special attraction near the lookout tower is a wooden heart-shaped photo spot, providing the perfect backdrop for unique photos with a view. The area is also known for its winegrowing tradition, so a visit can be pleasantly combined with stopping at local wine taverns and tasting wine.
Plački Vrh is therefore an excellent destination for anyone seeking relaxation in nature, scenic views, and an authentic experience of a winegrowing landscape.
